-
Remember visitor preferences;
-
Understand website traffic and interactions;
-
Measure performance;
-
Detect security issues; and
-
Improve content and services.
Some technologies may be operated by Wix or other third-party providers. Those providers may collect information directly from a visitor’s browser under their own privacy policies.
You may manage cookies through the website’s cookie settings, when available, or through your browser. Disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality.
If UDE later activates advertising pixels or behavioral-advertising tools, this policy and the website’s consent settings should be updated before those tools go live.

Destination inspiration;
-
Travel updates;
-
Newsletters;
-
Promotions; and

Special offers.
You may unsubscribe through the link included in a marketing email or by contacting UDE.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent us from sending essential communications about an active inquiry, reservation, payment, or hosted experience.
9. Sensitive Travel Information
Travelers may voluntarily provide information relating to accessibility needs, dietary restrictions, allergies, mobility, health considerations, or emergency assistance.
UDE uses this information only when reasonably necessary to:
-
Evaluate or communicate a requested accommodation;
-
Coordinate with an appropriate supplier;
-
Support guest safety; or

Respond to an emergency.
Guests should not submit medical records or detailed health information unless UDE specifically requests it and provides an appropriate method for doing so.
UDE is not a healthcare provider, and information submitted to UDE is generally not protected by federal medical-privacy laws that apply to healthcare providers.
10. Data Security
UDE uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information.
These measures may include access controls, password protections, secure third-party platforms, and limiting information access to persons who reasonably need it.
No website, email system, messaging platform, or electronic-storage method is completely secure. UDE cannot guarantee absolute security.
Guests should avoid sending passport images, complete card numbers, medical records, or other highly sensitive information through ordinary email or social-media messages.

Satisfy supplier and host-agency requirements;
-
Resolve disputes;
-
Prevent fraud;
-

Retention periods vary according to the type of information and the reason it was collected. Information that is no longer required may be deleted, anonymized, or securely archived.
Backup copies may remain temporarily until they are replaced through normal system processes.
12. Third-Party Websites and Platforms
Our website and communications may link to supplier websites, social networks, payment processors, booking systems, or other third-party platforms.
Those services are independently operated and may collect information under their own privacy policies. UDE is not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices.
Guests should review the applicable policies before submitting information through an external service.

UDE’s website and services are not directed to children under 17, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children under 17.
If we learn that a child under 17 has submitted personal information without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Information about a minor traveler may be provided by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult when necessary to arrange an eligible family or group reservation.
Although most UDE-hosted experiences are restricted to guests who are at least 21, the federal children’s-online-privacy standard generally concerns children under 17. Federal Trade Commission COPPA guidance

To protect guest information, UDE may take reasonable steps to verify the identity and authority of the person submitting a request.
15. Washington Consumer Health Data
Washington’s My Health My Data Act may apply to certain information that identifies or may be used to infer a person’s physical or mental health status.
Where applicable, Washington consumers may have rights concerning consumer health data, including rights to:
-
Confirm whether qualifying information is being collected, shared, or sold;
-
Access qualifying information;
-
Receive information about certain disclosures;

Withdraw consent; and
-
Request deletion.
UDE does not sell consumer health data.

California residents may have additional privacy rights if the California Consumer Privacy Act or another California privacy law applies to UDE’s processing of their information.
Applicable rights may include the right to request access, correction, or deletion and the right to receive information about certain data practices.
UDE does not represent that it currently meets the statutory thresholds that make every provision of the California Consumer Privacy Act applicable. However, we will evaluate valid privacy requests under the laws that apply to the request.
Additional information about California privacy rights is available from the California Attorney General.
17. Do Not Track and Privacy Signals
Some browsers provide “Do Not Track” settings. Because there is no single universally adopted standard for these signals, our website may not respond uniformly to them.
Where required by applicable law and supported by our website technology, UDE will honor recognized browser-based opt-out preference signals.
18. Changes to This Policy
UDE may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, technology, suppliers, or legal obligations.
The effective date at the top of the policy will be revised when changes are made. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or another appropriate method.
Changes do not retroactively authorize materially different uses of information when additional notice or consent is legally required.
